The market volume for smaller cars is significant for any new entrant provided the offered variant has more features than the existing Suzuki 800 cc and 1000cc meaning thereby, better design interior with airbags, safety belts, tinted glasses, audio system,power steering, keyless opening,better suspension,higher warranties on engine and transmission, strong after sales service with minimum of 3S or 4S service outlets, more fuel efficient and hybrid with LNG/LPG and IC petrol engine. These features together with a price lower by 15% will be a hot cake for the new entrant particularly of a brand that has or had been in Pakistan. Hyundai EON to replace Santro can be a highly competitive car to enter the Pakistani market. Cost reductions can be realized with an automated assembly line, well trained operators and technicians, strong QA system, engine transmission, electrical and electronic items sourced from the most competitive Hyundai supplier but excluding India and preferably, China, Turkey, Russia, Philippines etc. but most preferably from China.
Hyundai-KIA can be another competitor of Korean origin with same criteria as inked for Hyundai EON.
